In math we worked on Texas problem solving. Today we learned about the pecan tree by looking on wikipedia.com for facts about them. Also, we measured how tall a pecan tree is by using a yard stick in the hallway. Did you know the pecan tree can live up to 300 years old? We do!

Today we got new crayons. Today was the first day of April. We learned about bluebonnets and wrote about them in our Texas booklet. At lunch we ate hamburgers and chips. It was the 3rd day of our  readers theater practice.
